Mike and his Pat

My dear friend Mike from Thailand wrote me in a mail the following......

We had a few days off so we took a short road trip to Chanthaburi, which is about 4 hours drive south of our town Korat.
We had a great time. Lots of wonderful seafood and many kinds of fruits. Not many people vacation in this place, so the beaches are very uncrowded. It's out first time to stop there, although we've driven through many times. We'll go back!

Road trip to..........Laos

My friend from the other side told me some weeks ago about his next holiday.
His wife planned a road trip of a week through their neighbour country Laos. Mike was the driver and his wife Pat ''the perfect-co-pilot and navigator''. They were in South Central Laos including the Mahaxai caves, Kong Lor Cave, Savannakhet, Tha Khek and Vientiane.
